Bugfix 1.011
I pushed a new version of the pre-alpha prototype, 1.011. This version has the following changes:
- Fixed crash bug when opening world generator “Display” dialog when there is nothing to display
- Destroying or mining blocks belonging to stockpiles or rooms causes those blocks to removed from said zone
- Dwarves will now place gathered objects on the nearest stockpile to where they currently are
- Stockpiles/Rooms can no longer be built on slopes.
- When placing objects in stockpiles, dwarves will put them in the nearest free cell, rather than a random one
- Items attached to stockpiles that get destroyed are removed from the stockpile
- Going backwards no longer reverses camera directions in the left/right axis
- Water meshes are only calculated if more than a certain amount of water is moved (this fixed some perodic 10ms hangs)
- There is a full water update every second rather than every 3 seconds
- If lava flows into water, or water flows into lava, this now creates stone
- Added options to enable/disable cursor lighting, entity lighting, and self-illuminating blocks
- Removed superfluous matrix multiply in the textured vertex shader
I have been thinking about creating a bug tracker for people who have access to the prototype, but I don’t have much experience with this. May set up a bugzilla or trac account. This might be overkill, so for now we will continue to use the forums.

Also, our estimated kickstarter launch date of July 15th was a bit too optimistic. Unfortunately, it will take some time for us to get banking and Amazon payments set up. I will post here again when I have more details.
